An accountability court in Rawalpindi has re-summoned the witnesses for recording statements in the illegal assets reference case against former president Asif Ali Zardari.
On Saturday, the NAB prosecutor and Farooq H Neak, the counsel for Zardari, appeared before the court, but statements of the witnesses could not be recorded since two of them did not appear before the court.
Upon this, judge Khalid Mehmood Ranjha summoned all the witnesses in the next hearing on October 21.
