The government has released a sum of over Rs 1 billion to undertake development projects in Rawalpindi city and its adjoining areas.
The roads being constructed and overhauled under the projects, include Missa Kaswal in Gujar Khan, Chakri Road, Naran-Dubair Kalan, Seelan Syedan-Kotli Sattian, Kahuta to Lehtrar Link Road, Chakri Stop to Harnian Wala and Behlwal Road and Sail River Bridge.
The Punjab Highway Circle has received the orders in this respect and tenders will be soon invited for the award of construction work.
