Former minister and senior politician from Balochistan, Yar Muhammad Rind on Friday joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He announced his decision at a press conference where PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders of the party were also present.
He said that during the next elections, PTI would emerge as the strongest party in Balochistan, which he said was in a state of war. He said that he joined PTI with a hope for change.
Yar Muhammad Rind was the federal minister for food and agriculture during the Pervez Musharraf regime. He said that he would strengthen PTI in Balochistan and said that he would solve the problems of the people of Pakistan by bringing PTI to power.
Speaking on the occasion PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that injustice knows no limits in Balochistan. He said that the elections in Balochistan were a hoax.
“We had realised during the proceedings of Judicial Commission (JC) how free the elections were in Balochistan,” said Imran. He thanked Yar Muhammad Rind for joining PTI.
Imran Khan also stressed the need for devolution of powers though local bodies elections in order to address miseries of the people.
