Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra was hailed as the latest pin-up girl for American prime time television. When Pee Cee bagged the role of Alex Parrish, an FBI agent in ABC’s latest series Quantico, the actress was applauded for her performance and admired for holding her own in untested international waters.
But, latest statistics have revealed that the initial hype after the grand premiere, may be slowly waning as the show is slipping down on the ratings chart. A bollywoodlife.com report suggested that Quantico aired on NBC is already behind The Walking Dead, the epic zombie apocalypse series. Chopra’s debut US TV show reportedly averaged a 1.6 rating/5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.7 million viewers overall, down from 1.9 in the demo it had done with its first two episodes. Looks like Pee Cee has stiff competition and we wonder if just her charm is enough to pull the show through!
We really loved the tough FBI agent act, we did! And we sincerely hope that Priyanka’s magic is strong enough to keep the act together for the whole show.
