Rawalpindi Enforcement Department starts anti encroachments operation on daily basis

Rawalpindi cantonment board’s enforcement department has started anti encroachment drive on special advice of Cantonment executive officer.

According to spokesman of ‘cantonment board’ the operation was started on the advice of cantonment executive officer and enforcement department staff is working against encroachments on daily basis.

He said the traffic remains jam for hours due to encroachments, and without removing of encroachments the problem of traffic flow could not be solved.

Meanwhile the Enforcement department staff seized the material of 3 truck loads including stalls, counters, tables and chairs in addition to fruits and second hand clothes from different localities of range road, tenchbhata, chuhr chowk and peoples colony where the encroachments were leading to traffic jams for long time.

The spokesman further told that all out efforts will be made to solve the resident’s complaints, so that they may not face such situation in future.
