Rashid lashes out at Khan again

Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid said on Tuesday that Imran Khan was used to making claims like Maula Jutt (full of bravado) before the election and became Yamla Jatt (an imbecile) after the election.

“Imran Khan makes tall claims like Maula Jatt ahead of polls and when he faces defeat, he starts accusing others like Yamla Jatt to cover up his failure,” he said while taking to media men outside the parliament house.

He said that election in NA-122 was not a contest between Aleem Khan and Ayaz Sadiq but a contest between the allegations levelled by Imran Khan and truth which the PML-N government stood by. In this contest Imran Khan had been proved to be “Ilzam Khan”, he said.

He said that Imran Khan, after the 2013 elections, had accused that Ayyaz Khan had polled 50,000 bogus votes. But Sadiq had secured the same number of votes as he had done in the General Election.

He said that Lahoris had exposed falsehood of Imran Khan’s accusations.

SHIV SENA BIAS:

The minister said that the narrow-mindedness and bias demonstrated by India on the occasion of launching of Khaurshid Mehmood Kasuri’s book was regrettable. He said that the role played by Shiv Sena had exposed undemocratic face of India in the world. He said that the hatred demonstrated by Indian rulers and organizations against Pakistan was not in the interest of region.

“I am shocked over the attitude of Shiv-Sena,” he said, adding that people of Pakistan are peace loving and broadminded. The maltreatment meted out to Pakistani guests in India had exposed the real face of India before the world.
