The police arrested 56 suspects including illegal Afghan immigrants and recovered arms during search operations here on Wednesday.
According to details, the police conducted raids and search operations in the different areas of the Peshawar city during which it apprehended 56 suspects including five Afghan nationals illegally staying in Pakistan.
Arms including two Kalashnikovs, three pistols, two repeaters and hundreds of rounds were recovered from the possession of the nabbed suspects and the police after registering separate cases against them at respective police stations have started the investigation.
