A man was killed when a speeding car hit a motorcycle within Saddar police jurisdiction on Monday.
Jafar Shah, a resident of Saddar, lodged a complaint with the local police that his brother Baqer Shah was going to Committee Chowk on his motorcycle when an unidentified speeding car hit his bike killing him on the spot.
The car driver fled after leaving the victim injured. The body has been shifted the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi for medico-legal formalities. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
