As many as 187 more dengue viral fever cases were reported throughout the Sindh province, out of which 186 were from Karachi alone.
As per the weekly data issued by Sindh Dengue Prevention & Control Program, at least 187 dengue viral cases were reported across the Sindh province in a week, out of which 186 emerged from Karachi alone, while one was from Hyderabad.
A total of 2,258 dengue fever cases were reported from the Sindh province from January 1, 2015 to till this time, out of which 2,203 were detected from Karachi. Four people died due to dengue fever and all of them belong to Karachi.
Report further stated that out of the total 2,258 dengue fever reported cases, 2,203 were reported from Karachi, 19 from Hyderabad, nine from Larakana, six from Mirpurkhas, five from Umer Kot, four from Shaheed Benazirabad, three each from Sukkur, Thatha and Ghoktki, one each from Sanghar, Shikarpur and Jacobabad.
