Cantonment board Rawalpindi sanitation department has found a dangerous solution to dispose off the garbage, which is by burning the waste hence increasing the pollution in the city.
According to locals, the workers have started to burn the garbage as there is no disposal site nearby to discard the garbage and waste materials.
Due to this carelessness of the officers and sanitary staff of the Cantonment Board, environmental pollution has increased at horrific level; the citizens are facing asthma problems.
The residence have threatened to protest if no remedial measures was taken at the earliest by the concerned authorities.
