A robber was killed after he was fired at by citizens in the middle of an attempted robbery on Sunday.
Police said that a robber snatched cash, a mobile and other valuables from a woman near Gaddafi Stadium Lahore and tried to flee. The husband of the woman chased the fleeing robber and opened fire on him killing him on the spot. The body of the robber was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police after registering a case into the incident have started the investigation.
