Minor scuffles between PML-N, PTI supporters

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers and supporters came face-to-face and scuffled outside several polling stations in Lahore’s NA-122 constituency; hours after polling began on Sunday.

According to reports, the first scuffle was reported from outside the polling station in the Basti Syedan Shah area of Lahore, where PTI and PML-N supporters first chanted slogans against each other and then started trading punches. The enraged supporters later threw chairs at their opponents, as law enforcers tried to calm them down.

A similar scene was witnessed in the Samanabad area of the city, where supporters from both opposing parties also came face-to-face and chanted slogans against each other. PTI and PML-N supporters also scuffled and chanted slogans outside the Crescent School polling station in the Shadman colony area.
