The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has delayed the election process in different union councils of Rawalpindi district, in pursuance of the order of Lahore High Court (LHC) Rawalpindi Bench.
The elections were postponed in Dhar Jawa, Tret, Murree city, Ghora Gali and Charhan of of Tehsil Murree.
In Tehsil Kotli Sattian, the LG polls were postponed in Maloot Sattian, Bhattian, Karor, Letrar and Chajjana union councils.
The ECP also delayed elections in six union councils of Rawalpindi Tehsil, including Khalool,Beor, Sakoot,Balkhar, Kotha Kalan (I) and Kotha Kalan (II).
