Lahore – Our Jiyala Correspondent: In an unexpected turn of events, Pakistan People’s Party NA-122 candidate Barrister Mian Amir Hassan managed to cross the tipping point of ten voters on Saturday.
“We are happy with this development,” said Ilyas Hassan, the campaign manager. “From this critical mass, we can expect a victory in the upcoming election.”
“Initially, there were some apprehensions on how to get these voters to the polling stations as many could not afford to get there in time, but one Suzuki Bolan has been arranged,” he said.
However, analysts believe this figure is inflated and the true test will come on the day of the election. “We don’t believe the figure will reach double-digits, but then again, there might be some voters who don’t know how to fill out forms, so that might work to the party’s advantage.”
