PEIRA asks parents to file complaints about non refund/adjustment of increased fee

 

Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority (PEIRA) has informed the parents of the students studying in Private Educational Institutions (PEI) of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) that the private schools have been directed not to increase any fees/ charges / funds in 2015.

In a statement, PEIRA said any increase in fees/charges/ funds, already charged by PEI should be either refunded or adjusted by the managements of all PEI in the subsequent bills of the students.

It asked the parents that in case of non-compliance of the above decision by any PEI of ICT, parents may forward their complaints to the incharge of “Grievances Cell” setup in the office of PEIRA on their Toll free #0800-92111.

In addition, all PEI, functioning within the territorial jurisdiction of ICT, have been informed that their written conformity to the PEIRA’s notification of September 23 must reach the authorities till October 15 without fail.
