Oslo – Our Not So Noble Correspondent: The Norwegian Nobel Committee has called for an emergency session in that aftermath of one of the laureates of the peace prize being bombed by another laureate of the same prize.
On October 3rd, forces whose commander-in-chief, Barack Obama, was the Nobel peace laureate in 2009, bombed the building of Doctors Without Borders, the laureate from 1999.
“This incident has not only led a to a serious situation regarding the safety of our laureates,” said Kaci Kullmann Five, the head of the committee, “but has also raised the question of whether we actually do have this whole ‘peace’ thing figured out in the first place.”
Till the filing of this report, the committee had already sent a special group of bodyguards to protect Bishop Desmond Tutu (who won the prize in 1984) from an alleged squad of elite assassins sent by the International Atomic Energy Agency (2005).
