Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday said that Saudi Arabia has stood by Pakistan in tough times without exception.
According to a statement issued, Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani held a meeting with the Punjab CM and said that Pakistan gives immense importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and means to extend cooperation between the two countries.
Shehbaz said economic and trade relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arab are strengthening. Both the countries have historical brotherly relations, he added.
The CM offered his condolences for the martyrs of Mina stampede and expressed grief over the tragedy.
