The Supreme Court (SC) has ordered to form a medical board to examine former federal minister Dr Asim Hussain, who is in jail on corruption charges.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Sarmad Jalal Usmani directed Rangers to form a medical team to ensure provision of best medical treatment to Hussain.
According to a petition filed by his family, Hussain is suffering from cardio complications and other acute diseases while he has been shifted from hospital to a detention cell. The petition pleaded for forming a medical team for physical examination of Hussain.
