In a message on the occasion of National Disaster Awareness Day observed on October 8, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has reiterated resolve of the government to equip the country with necessary capabilities to effectively respond to the challenges thrown by natural disasters.
He said the government is ready to invest in establishment of comprehensive system to help mitigate damages of natural disasters and sufferings of the people.
He said as the country has gotten an opportunity to realize its dream of the Economic Corridor, now a comprehensive strategy must be formulated to ensure rehabilitation after a natural disaster.
