Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed confidence that his upcoming visit to the United States would help further promote the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
He was chairing a meeting on Thursday to discuss his visit to the United States.
It was attended by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi, along with others.
The PM expressed hope that the visit will also help provide Pakistan with an opportunity to highlight the matchless sacrifices made and huge losses incurred during the war on terror. It is also expected that the PM will raise the issue of ceasefire violations by India along the Line of Control with the US president.
