Mikaal Zulfiqar has been working as an artist for over a decade and audiences have really enjoyed him taking on avatars as diverse as a fierce punk rocker.
But now, he is going to show his talent as a producer Tum Meray Kia Ho which is going to hit TV screens from October 8.
“I have wanted to produce TV for a while now. For me, its natural progression,” said the newly turned producer Mikaal.
“I’m 33 right now, and have a good 8-10 years ahead of me, but I can’t live in fools’ paradise and think that I will be a full-time actor forever,” expressed the artist.
The play is a story of a property tycoon and a widower – playing by Mikaal -, who rediscovers love upon his meeting with his manager’s daughter (Sajal Ali), who is compelled to marry into a greedy family. Subsequently, Mikaal and Sajal’s lives are interlinked, but their love affair gets complicated after Mikaal’s ex-love (Kiran Haq) returns.
While, after having relished the conventional family drama like TMKH, Mikaal hopes to bring innovations in the entertainment industry through his production skills.
The play TMKH is all set to air its first episode at 8pm on PTV Home on Thursday 8 October, while his next production Maan will soon be airing on Hum TV as well.
