The accountability court (AC) on Tuesday adjourned hearing in the illegal assets case against former president Asif Ali Zardari till October 9 due to the absence of Asif Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naik.
Accountability court Judge Khalid Mahmood Rajha took up the case for hearing. The National Accountability Bureau’s Prosecutor Aurangzeb appeared before the court but the former president’s counsel did not.
The court issued summons to the two witnesses Naqi Imam Malik and Ahmad Jawad Mirza to appear before the court in the next hearing.
