As many as 25,000 fake employees have been identified in the Sindh Education and Literacy Department.
A list of 794 ghost teachers posted in district Qambar-Shahdadkot has been released. Sources said that during investigation carried out by the AG Sindh office and the education department, about 25,000 out of 155,000 recorded employees had been identified as ‘fake’ in the Sindh Education and Literacy Department. They said that fake employees were identified by the deputy accountant general education, security and examination committee with the support of biometric system. The education department had published in the newspapers a list of 794 ghost teachers whose actual appointment record, service book and education degrees were missing.
