Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that any unholy alliance of vested interests, opportunists, and turn coats will suffer humiliating defeat when jiyalas will come out with tri-color party flags.

He was talking to delegations of the PPP office-bearers, elected representatives and local leaders of Jamshoro and Dadu districts at Bilawal House.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he wanted 100 percent result from Jamshoro and Dadu as both districts had been invincible forts of the party even during the worst martial regime of Gen Zia when jiyalas put up strong resistances and embraced martyrdoms for the cause of democracy and rights of the suppressed masses.

The PPP leaders and workers from the two districts appealed the chairman to visit their respective districts and address the workers and people as they were eagerly waiting to see a glimpse of the son of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. They pledged that PPP candidates would win cent percent seats in both districts and would invite the chairman to speak to the victory celebrations after the local bodies elections.

The PPP chairman pointed out that unholy alliances were being weaved by the rejected elements, Brutus-kind of people, traditional conspirators and henchmen of the undemocratic forces to contest against the PPP candidates. Though repeatedly defeated by jiyalas, these dead horses and lame-ducks were pushed into the race for dreams never fulfilled. He also directed the PPP leaders to effectively challenge the propaganda being carried out by the opponents against the party and its leadership at every forum. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said there was a long struggle of jiyalas in Pakistan which had been a hallmark of political loyalty in Pakistan.
