The Election Commission on Tuesday issued orders to the election candidates to remove hoardings and banners within 24 hours from the NA-122 constituency.
Earlier, Returning Officer Zahid Bilal had served notices to both PTI and PML-N candidates about the display of signboards and hoardings.
In their written replies, Abdul Aleem Khan and Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, however claimed they were abiding by the election code of conduct and that the hoardings and signboards were displayed by their supporters.
