3 MQM workers remanded to Ranges for 90 days

As many as three workers of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) including its sector incharge were handed over to Rangers for 90 days remand by an anti-terrorism court on Friday.

During court hearing, Rangers personnel alleged that the suspects Shahid (Eidgah unit Incharge), Farooq Qurashi and Sajjad are involved in extorting money from traders by portraying themselves as member of banned outfits whereas actually they belonged to a political party. In addition, the suspects also confessed to killing a number of people for spreading their fear.
