Former National Assembly speaker Ayaz Sadiq said on Sunday that he would succeed in the NA-122 by-election, as it had been and still was his strong bastion.
Talking to journalists, Sadiq said that he had won election in the constituency in the past and would do so again in the upcoming by-elections.
He expressed confidence that the NA-122 seat belonged to him and that it would remain with him.
He said his contest was with Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf Chief Imran as well as Abdul Aleem Khan.
Sadiq said that his opponent was facing fraud charges of Rs261 crore while four FIRs were already registered against him.
