At least three alleged gangster were killed during an encounter with police in Karachi on Sunday.
On a tip-off, the police carried out a raid on a house in Baldia Town and an encounter took place with the suspects. As a result, the three gangsters identified as Arshad, Abdul Noor and Noman were killed. The bodies have been shifted to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
On the other hand, the counter terrorism department personnel raided a private hospital and arrested two Afghan nationals. The CTD spokesman said the Afghan nationals had been undergoing treatment since September 21. The CTD have shifted them to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
Meanwhile, the anti-car lifting seal arrested two suspects in the Buffer Zone. Two motorcycles were recovered from the suspects. Two people were also injured during a cracker bomb attack in Chakiwara area of Lyari.
