Three armed persons have looted a shopkeeper at gunpoint within the Civil Lines police jurisdiction during the last 24 hours.
Mohammad Mustaqeen, a resident of Civil Lines, lodged a complaint with the local police that three armed persons barged into his shop and held him hostage at gunpoint and deprived him of Rs25,000 in cash, a cell phone, recharge cards worth Rs50,000.
Meanwhile, Malvina Babar, a resident of Naseerabad, also lodged a complaint that two motorcyclists waylaid him on a main market and deprived her of jewelry, a purse containing Rs0.3million in cash, 200 euros and documents.
The police have registered cases and started investigation.
