Hair transplants are a pretty accepted thing these days, with everyone from Wayne Rooney to Shane Warne shouting from the rooftops about them.
Now, beard transplants are set to be a thing, with guys who are incapable of growing hipster facial hair paying thousands of pounds for one.
That’s according to the New York Times, who spoke to Dr. Jeffrey S. Epstein, a hair restoration surgeon, who claimed he used to perform four or five beard transplants annually, whereas now he performs three a week.
A full beard transplant, from sideburns to chin costs around $7,000.
With individual hair follicles harvested from the back of his head, where hair grows thickest, and transplanted to the recipient’s face.
