The electricity connection to the office of the Rawalpindi Cantt Board has been disconnected on defaulting of payment of outstanding dues worth Rs359 million.
The IESCO had issued a final notice to cantonment board office for payment of the outstanding dues but it failed to make payments, which led to the disconnection.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the Cantonment Board claimed that they had received a bill of Rs12.4 million which has been paid and no outstanding dues were lying against them.
