The Accountability Court (AC) on Thursday adjourned the hearing regarding illegal assets reference case against former president Asif Zardari till October 6 due to the absence of witnesses.
Accountability court Judge Khalid Mahmood Rajha was hearing the case against Zardari.
The National Accountability Bureau’s Prosecutor Aurangzeb appeared before the court while former president’s lawyer Farooq H Naik could not appear in the court.
The court ordered the two witnesses Naqi Imam Malik and Ahmad Jawad Mirza to appear before the court in the next hearing.
The court remarked that the hearing should be held on daily basis under Section 16 and ordered present a report after checking the records of both the witnesses.
