Police claimed to have killed two alleged terrorists who attacked SSP Lyari Aftab Nizmani on Wednesday.
Police said terrorists opened fire on SSP Nizamani when he was on the way to see the crime scene of hand grenade attack in Jhat Pat Market, Lyari. In retaliatory fire of police, two of the attackers were killed. The bodies were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities. Police said the suspects were robbers and were involved in different cases of extortion.
