Robbers torture man during robbery in Islamabad

Armed robbers on Tuesday tortured a man after he offered resistance during a robbery within the jurisdiction of Ramna Police Station.

Saadi Akhtar, a resident of Ramna, lodged a complaint with the local police that his Toyota Corolla car worth Rs 1.6 million was parked outside his house when four robbers took it away forcibly at gun-point after subjecting him to torture when he put up resistance.

Meanwhile, Naveed Ashraf, a resident SabziMandi, lodged a complaint with the local police that unknown thieves stole his heavy bike, which was parked at parking lot of the carriage factory.

Police have registered both cases and started the investigation.
