Five killed, 25 hurt in road mishaps in Punjab

At least five people, including a woman, were killed and more than two dozen injured in separate road accidents in Punjab on Tuesday.

Reportedly, two people were killed and 10 others wounded in a head-on collision between a speeding tractor-trolley and a passenger coaster in Chunian area on Changa Manga Road.

In Soubaram Town of Okara, a speeding passenger bus bumped into a motorcycle, causing instant death of the duo on the bike. The bus driver managed to escape from the scene however.

Separately, a woman died while 15 others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a tractor on the motorway near Khanqah Dogran in Sheikhupura district.
