The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday lifted the ban on journalists’ entry into anti-terrorism, accountability and special courts as well as tribunals.
Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed had reserved the verdict on a writ petition challenging the ban last Wednesday.
The petition had been filed by Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ) Assistant Secretary-General Wasim Farooq through advocate Muhammad Azhar Siddique, requesting the court to lift the bar hindering journalists from carrying out their duties.
