Reacting to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s press conference, Information Minister Senator Pervaiz Rashid on Tuesday said Khan’s criticism of the Supreme Court’s verdict on NA-154 has disappointed him.
In a statement, Rashid said the apex court had repeatedly asked PTI candidate Jahangir Tareen’s counsel to argue. However, he avoided doing so, he added.
The PML-N stalwart went on to say that his party’s political opponents have started seeking long delays in hearing instead of presenting argument before the court.
Rashid said Siddique Baloch was ready to contest the by-election and only went to the Supreme Court to challenge his life-time disqualification over fake degree.
