A key figure in the Khanzada murder case was sentenced to a 14-day physical remand by a Rawalpindi court on Tuesday.
The accused- Qasim- was given to Joint Investigation Team of the Counter Terrorism Department after being presented in a court amid heavy security.
Punjab home minister Colonel (retd) Shuja Khanzada was killed in a suicide attack on his political office in Shadi Khan village, Attock, Sunday, along with 16 others on August 17.
Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ) had reportedly taken responsibility of the suicide attack on Khanzada. Khanzada was under threat following the killing of LeJ chief Malik Ishaq in July.
