The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recorded statements of 50 individuals who had allegedly obtained land through ‘china cutting’ (unscrupulous demarcation).
According to sources, important disclosures have been made in these statements while names of KMC and KDA officers also surfaced in the ongoing investigations.
All the individuals who recorded their statements had acquired land in Surjani Town through ‘china cutting’.
Sources also said that FIA had got hold of some 15000 files during its investigation into the ‘china cutting’ scam.
FIA has issued notices to hundreds of people for recording statements.
