A couple along with their three children died in a road accident near Multan Road on Monday.
According to Rescue 1122, Dilawar, a resident of Surij-Miani, along with his family, was returning home after visiting the shrine of Hazrat Pir Jahanian, when his motorcycle was crushed by a bus coming from the opposite direction.
As a result, Dilawar (35), his wife Mumtaz, their one-month-old son Mubashar, daughters four-year-old Zahra and seven-year-old Anam died on the spot. The driver of the bus managed to escape from the scene.
A case has been registered and police are investigating.
