Benazir murder case: Suicide bomber’s DNA report, other records presented in court

During hearing of Benazir Bhutto’s murder case, police presented DNA report of suicide attacker, his upper jacket, shoe, bullet shells and other evidence recovered from the attack site.

Telephonic record between suicide bomber and four other arrested suspects was also presented in the court.

The court ordered to record the statements of the complainant and the investigation officer, Kashif Riaz.

ATC judge Roy Ayub Marth resumed hearing in the case in Rawalpindi.

Subsequently, the hearing was adjourned till October 1. Statement of Mark Seigel will be recorded in the next hearing.

Benazir Bhutto, twice elected prime minister of Pakistan, was assassinated in a gun and bomb attack while leaving a public rally in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007.
