Hungarian police said Monday they have arrested five Pakistani nationals for illegally attempting to cross the border into the country.
Hungary has announced a crackdown on all illegal migrants entering the country and has been carrying out a large number of arrests since Sunday.
According to details, the five Pakistanis were trying to enter into Hungary with Syrian refugees via the Croatian and Serbian borders.
Police officials said besides the five Pakistanis, a large number of Bangladeshis, Syrians, Iraqis and people of other nationalities had also been arrested.
