PM describes meetings with UN chief, world leaders as “productive”

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has described his meetings with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and heads of state and government on the fringes of 70th Session of the United Nations General Assembly as positive and productive.
Talking to newsmen in New York, he said these meetings provided an opportunity to exchange views on all issues, including economy, politics, extremism and regional peace.
To a question about his meeting with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the Prime Minister said he reiterated Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir dispute, which needs to be resolved in accordance with Security Council resolutions and in line with the aspirations of Kashmiris.
Nawaz Sharif said he urged the United Nations Secretary General to have the Security Council resolutions on Kashmir, implemented as it is the duty of the world body to get its resolutions implemented.
