In yet another political setback for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the party’s former MNAs, MPA and ticket holders have announced to support Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate Jahangir Tareen in the NA-154 by-elections.
The development comes amidst increasing rifts between the party and former MNA Akhtar Khan Kanju, who has accused the party of ignoring his group persistently. Kanju said he and his supporters would play an important role in the defeat of the PML-N candidate facing PTI’s Tareen.
