The medical board set up to examine Dr Asim Hussain, a prominent Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader, has allowed him to leave the National Institute of Cardio Vascular Diseases (INCVD) after improvement in his health.
The board declared that Dr Hussain was not suffering from any heart problems and might check out from the hospital.
According to sources, Hussain, who remained under treatment for a week, was no longer suffering from stomach acidity and his health condition was gradually improving.
Dr Hussain’s health deteriorated after he was handed over to the paramilitary Rangers on a 90-day physical remand by an anti-terrorism court.
