The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday summoned final reply from federation in increased surcharge on electricity bill case by September 28.
During the hearing, the counsel told the court that federal government had imposed illegal surcharge on power, increasing its cost. He alleged that the government had implemented the decision without getting approval from National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA). Therefore, the court should annul this act.
The court annoyed over a lack of response, directed the federation to submit its reply by September 28.
