As many as two persons, including a cop, were gunned down and another injured in separate violence incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.
The body of a man, Muhammad Nadeem, 34, son of Muhammad Faqi, was recovered from Musharraf Colony in Hawkesbay area. It was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for an autopsy. Sources said the deceased was killed by gunshots and his body was abandoned in this area.
A police constable, Shair Ali, 26, son of Abdul Sattar, was killed by unknown gunmen near his house at Fauji Hotel area in Orangi Town No 14. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities. Manzoor Ahmad, 45, son of Noor Muhammad, was shot at and injured by armed men near Gul Ahmad Mills area in Landhi. He was brought to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for treatment.
