The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday decided to field Umair Khan Baloch, son of former MNA Siddique Khan Baloch, against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s Jehangir Khan Tareen in NA-154 by-elections.
Umair Baloch has started campaigning for the election after the ticket was presented to the District Returning Officer (DRO), Ghulam Israr.
A tough competition is likely between Tareen and Baloch on October 11.
Meanwhile, an appeal against the verdict of the tribunal in the NA-154 constituency has been admitted for hearing by the court.
