A free trade agreement between Pakistan and Korea is likely to be finalised by 2017.
Talking to media in Karachi, Consul General of Korean Embassy Kim Donggi said that negotiations for the agreement had already been started.
He said the FTA would increase the bilateral trade, which currently stood at around 1.7 billion dollars. He said Pakistan’s exports to Korea were estimated at 402 million dollars. To a question, he said cooperation could be increased in many areas including information and communication technology.
