One person was shot dead over financial dispute here on Sunday. Police arrested the accused along with murder weapons.
According to reports, in Mohsinwal locality of Mian Channu two persons exchange hot words over financial dispute. The verbal clash turned violent after which one person gunned down the other.
The police after getting the information of the incident rushed to the scene and arrested the culprit who was trying to escape and recovered murder weapon from his possession.
The body was shifted to hospital where it was handed over to heirs after postmortem and the police after registering a case against the detainee have started the investigation.
